I am Argentinian and I have lived in Poland for ten years. I did not grow up with Polish - I learned it here, as an adult, making every mistake. That is the useful part: I remember exactly which rules feel impossible at the start.
I teach in Spanish when that helps. I am happiest teaching around history and tango, and I will use both shamelessly if they make a case ending stick.
