What the course leads to:
By the end of A1.1 a student can get by in the simplest everyday situations, introduce themselves and other people, pass on basic information, talk about their day, and say what they have done and what they intend to do.
What is included
- 35 lessons of 90 minutes, with the same teacher all the way through
- You buy the coursebook your teacher specifies; the extra materials are prepared by the school
- A progress check at the end of the course
- A certificate of completion with your level and attendance
Who this is for
- You live in Poland, or you are moving here, and you are tired of watching from the outside
- You have never learned Polish, or you tried once and gave up
- You would rather keep a steady rhythm with the same group than book lessons one at a time
- You want to speak, not just understand grammar tables
This is only the beginning. After A1.1 you can carry on with A1.2, widening your vocabulary and getting more comfortable speaking Polish. The stages after that take you to a full A1.
If the group does not fill
Ten seats is a ceiling, not a target. A group also needs a minimum number of students to run, and rather than leave that unsaid, here is exactly what happens if the number is not reached.
- You hear before the course starts, never after. The school confirms or cancels the group at the latest one week before the first lesson.
- If the group is short, you are offered the alternatives first: a place in a smaller group at the rate for that size, or a place in another group that fits your level and your hours.
- If none of the alternatives suits you, the request ends there and you owe nothing. Once deposits are in place, a deposit in this situation comes back in full rather than becoming credit, unless you ask for credit.
Other ways to learn with us
Same school, different shape. If the hours or the price of this one do not suit you, one of these usually does.
